Limited Warranty
All our equipment has a warranty of up to 1 Year from the date of purchase.
This warranty will also cover transmitters and chargers. This warranty covers parts and replacement of any equipment that exhibits faults or functional defects.
It excludes any visual defects that do not affect the function.
Please retain your receipt or emailed paid invoice as proof of purchase.
Please fill in the form at the bottom of this page using your Purchase ID to ensure your warranty period has started. Should you not have completed the form and not have a proof of purchase, your warranty will be void.
An extended warranty or maintenance plan may be purchased in addition to this warranty as additional cover.
Water or moisture damage to equipment will void the warranty. Improper use of the equipment can be detected and our technicians will inspect equipment prior to providing a replacement or fix the headsets to determine the source of the problem.
Consumer Protection Law
You are protected by the consumer laws of the state and country of purchase. We provide additional benefits in addition those protections.
Limited Liability
The Silent Rave, it’s directors, owners or it’s employees will not be held responsible for improper use of the equipment resulting in harm or injury. We provide no guarantee on the parts or the components capacity to harm users, for improper use of equipment. Be aware that use of the equipment for extended periods can cause hearing loss at high volumes. Use of charging equipment during thunderstorms, under extreme weather or heat or cold can cause electrical faults. Care and caution should be exercised to ensure safety. We advise using a surge protection unit on the charger and the transmitter to ensure longevity of the devices and safety of users.
Product Care
Equipment should not be dropped, stepped on, exposed to moisture, rain or kept in extreme temperatures (below 5 degrees Centigrade or above 50 Degrees Centigrade) or left on for more than 24 hours at a stretch. failure to comply will risk the damaging of equipment and possibly cause malfunction. Upon diagnosis, we can easily detect types of damage and how they occurred.
Headsets
Equipment should not be dropped on the ground or into boxes, stepped on or exposed to moisture.
Clean headsets after every session using non alcoholic damp wipes. Oils should be removed to elongate the life of the ear muffs. Failure to o so will mean ear muffs degrade quicker.
Store all headsets in a dry environment away from extreme temperatures (below 5 degrees Centigrade or above 48°C - Degrees Centigrade)
Test All headsets regularly to ensure:
- all channels glow correct colours (red, blue, green)
- for all channels the correct audio is received
- charging of each headset is completing with the light turning from red to green once charged
- Isolate and keep aside any headsets that do not glow green after more than 4 hours of charging (do not use these)
- Isolate and keep aside any headsets that constantly glow green, even when they are not charged but are plugged in to chargers (do not use these)
Transmitters
Should not be left on for more than 24 hours at a stretch
Heat sinks (metal grills on the side ) on transmitters must not be obstructed from dissipating heat
Do not overdrive the transmitters (use a limiter and do not red-line the mixer)
Test all transmitters to ensure there is no crackling or hiss present
Use a slightly higher volume on the mixer but 3/4 volume on the headset to set the correct volume
Unplug all transmitters from power once used (do not leave them plugged in to power)
Store all transmitters in their cases whenever possible
Headset Chargers
To avoid electrocution or possible damage to the chargers or headsets, do not switch on chargers until plugging in or out of headsets has been completed.
Chargers are not to be switched on continuously - disconnect them after a maximum of 24hrs
Each headset should take a maximum of 5 hours to charge a set of headphones (3hrs is optimal) - charging will be indicated on each headset: red = not charged and green = fully charged
Chargers must not be dropped or exposed to moisture and extreme temperatures (below 5 degrees Centigrade or above 50 Degrees Centigrade)
Purchase of Replacements
Replacement or additional headsets can be ordered by contacting us directly. Shipment of additional products can take up to 4 weeks for additional headsets or replacements.
Commercial Use Limitations

Intended Use
Purchased Silent Rave Wireless Equipment is intended for school, home, home studio and exhibition space usage. It is not sold for large scale commercial for profit operations.
Large commercial events are encouraged to rent the equipment so they can take full advantage of our expertise and delivery team.
Where practicable it may be used in small to medium sized applications such as schools for activations, for private firms, provided there is no revenue that is generated during:
1) a commercial enterprise run for profit
or
2) for profit third parties involved
using the Silent Rave Wireless Equipment.
Commercial Use Prohibited
Purchased Silent Rave Wireless Equipment may not be used in a commercial application whereby the headphones are rented or included in the price of a ticket for any event, rented as a bulk rental without a prior agreement.
Royalties for such usage apply and will be pursued.

Franchising: A franchisee is an organisation or an individual purchasing the headphones for commercial purposes where it will be rented to other parties, in bulk, individually or as part of an event, included as part of the ticket price or as an additional service may negotiate and sign a commercial franchise agreement where royalties can be paid.
Such agreements are binding contracts and Franchisees will be responsible for reporting usage and payment of royalties on a regular basis as agreed under the Franchise Contract. For more information on being a Franchisee, please speak to the Silent Rave team.
